Yes- the headphone jack, hold switch, control wheel and bottom port are accessible with the case on. You can't put the iPod into a dock- but you can plug things into the bottom. You can see the screen thru the screen protector. How does the screen protector work? The screen protector is a separate piece of clear hard plastic with a soft rubbery ring around the back. The rubbery side goes 'down' against your iPod screen. The rubbery edge keeps the hard part of the screen protector from touching your iPod screen, and helps it 'grip' so it won't slip or slide around. How tough is it?? Tough. If you're looking for great protection from drops, scratches, and other bad things- the ToughSkin is one of the most protective cases you can get that gives you full access to all controls without removing the case. Will it fit on my iPod? If you've got a 30, 60, or 80 gig 5th generation (5G) iPod with video- the ToughSkin will fit your iPod. There is a rubber 'spacer' that sits in the back of the case to use with 30 gig iPods. You don't need to use the spacer with the 60 or 80 gig iPod. Additional Notes: Insert belt clip nub if desired and rubber spacer for 30 gig iPod if needed. Slip iPod video thru screen cutout. Stretch corners around top of iPod. Insert screen protector rubbery edges down, underneath the edges of the screen cutout. Clip on belt clip, plug in headphones and turn on your tunes!
